My name is Michael Smith. I have been training in the martial arts for 24 years (Shito ryu, Goju ryu, and recently started Brazilian Jiu-jitsu). I started Shito ryu under Sensei Ricky Adams, and later Shihan Rudy Crosswell and Soke Kenzo Mabuni. Because of my body type (later in life) I gravitated to the Naha style and took up Goju ryu under Sensei Tony Madamba and Shihan Morio Higaonna. I train under Jonathan Burke (one of 12 black belts under Royce Gracie) in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I intend to travel 4 times a year to Los Angelos California for private lessons at the Gracie Academy and Kron Gracie (the son of Rickson Gracie), where my best friend and long time training brother Brandon Hetzler is a brown belt under Rickson Gracie.
I am married (19 years) and have 5 children and am a software engineer for a large defense contractor (SAIC).

Hi Guys and Gals,
My name is Terrie Majeed and my daughter Kacie started her training with Sensai Ricky Adams 5 years ago when she was 3 years old. We just love the entire Adams Family and Sensai Adams has got to be the best instructor in the world! We had to move out of state because of employment changes but I am so glad that I can keep in touch with Sensai Adams and his family. Kacie is now taking Japanese Shotokan in Greenville, Sc. We sure do miss our extended family at Family Karate Center with Sensai Adams and his family.
Anyway, Hello to everyone and I hope to hear some news from my hometown Of Leesburg Florida here!
Terrie and Kacie Majeed
